1. For how long have you been a DSP?
3 years.
2. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Farmer.
3. If they made a movie about your life, what would it be called?
All Heart.
4. Why did you become a DSP?
I was hired as a maintenance supervisor. I had limited contact with the individuals we serve. Before long, I was yearning to have increased time with our consumers. I requested and was granted an individual to work with me as an apprentice.
5. Who is your hero in real life?
My children.
6. What is your favorite part about being a DSP?
It’s very selfish, but I have the luxury of going home each and every night with the knowledge that I made a difference in at least one person’s life that day.
7. If you had one wish, what would it be?
That no DSPs were needed.
8. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Raising my two kids.
9. If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
To lift hearts and install smiles on otherwise down-trodden people.
10. What is one thing you wish people understood about you and your work?
That it is not about me or my coworkers, and that they could help.
