1. For how long have you been a DSP?
5 years.
2. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A nurse.
3. If they made a movie about your life, what would it be called?
Evolution.
4. Why did you become a DSP?
I happened into DSP work when I was unable to find a nurses assistant position upon moving from Rhode Island to Southern California in 2005.
5. Who is your hero in real life?
My heroes are those that get up every morning, facing what others may see as great adversity and struggle, with a smile on their face and a can-do attitude.
6. What is your favorite part about being a DSP?
The ability to assist people toward their own goals.
7. If you had one wish, what would it be?
For all people to be treated fairly.
8. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Bringing two beautiful children into the world.
9. If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
Super insight.
10. What is one thing you wish people understood about you and your work?
That what I do is important and makes a difference in people’s lives.
